T25 T3 Panel Van - Subaru Motor - Show Winner

A very sad decision but I've concluded that after owning this Panel Van for nearly 4 years that it is really time to let it go on a new adventure in new ownership. Anyone who knows me will tell you how much I love this van but unfortunately due to work commitments I’m just not getting the use which is a massive shame, but I’ve got to think with my head and not my heart with this one.

So, where do I start..?
This stunning van was fully restored by Tins Restoration & Kustoms in Cornwall just over 4 years ago and has become a Multi show winning and Mag Featured T3 Panel Van. Finished in Audi Nardo Grey with a Subaru Legacy EJ22 Engine with Twin Tipped Stainless Steel Exhaust. Tastefully lowered and sitting on original ultra rare Autostrada Modena 17” 3 Piece Sandwich mounted Split Rims. This van launched Tins signature Front Flip Bench Seat as well as their 3 point belted full with rock and roll bed, all of which have littletly just been re-upholstered in Mk7 GTI Trim by Holly's House Devon.

So in short it's a 1984 Panel Van, and after Tins Kustoms ownership I became just the 4th owner from new. The documents show that previously it was owned by a fabrication company in Devon and although I’m not entirely sure why, it was taken off the road for several years ago and partly stripped for parts. It was later saved by Tins who restored it to what we see now before I purchased it. In my ownership I’ve covered just 15,000 mile and loved every single moment of it. The van has understandably flown through every MOT since and had a couple of bits done this year mainly through lack of use but has been genuinely an extremely reliable van within my ownership.

Tins Kustoms built this van to showcase many aspects of his T25 Specialist business including the Front Bench Seats, Rock & Roll Beds, Flawless Paint Work and many other specialist touches. We’ve been invited to and attended many VW Shows where the van has drawn a lot of attention, compliments and trophies and was even featured in VW Camper & Commercial Magazine. It wasn't intended to be a show van and it really has had its fair use as a great camper having been on some amazing road trips and adventures in it too including a week at Glastonbury living and working out of it.

Most of the restoration pictures are on Insta (T3_the_mash_up) and as you'll see there has been extensive panel work done before having a bare metal respray Including the underside which is also detailed in burgundy. Absolutely loads of new bits including bushes, brake lines/hoses, Fuel Lines and hoses etc.

It's easier to list some bullet points rather than me writing a lengthy description.

Like I’ve mentioned, work commitments have really taken over and I have very little time to enjoy the van. On the flip side to this there are a couple of things that may need attention to make this the perfect van, again I just don't have the time to sort these myself and lived with it last year.

Small crack at bottom of front screen (not and MOT failure)
There are two seams that are showing small signs of seam bubbling. All the panel work on this particular side of the van is original and none of the panels got replaced during the restoration which I believe is a good thing. These are local repairs that you'd expect with T25 upkeep.
There is a small parking incident scrape on the sliding door and into the rear quarter panel that I just haven't got around to sorting. If I’m honest no one has really actually noticed it but would be nice to get it done to make it perfect again.

I’ve done my absolute best to keep on top of the presentation of this van and trust me I can be a fussy bugger with detailing. I try to garage it as much as I can, which is genuinely most of the time apart from the height of summer and the condition shows this.

Price is sensibly negotiable and I’d even listen to offers without the wheels too. A little research will conclude they are worth a fair bit, talk to me sensibly if you are genuinely interested. I’m not desperate to sell, like I say I'm just being honest with myself and it's a waste just sitting here not getting used.

More Pictures will be added once I pull it out of Storage this week.
