SEO & Copywriter - Full Time

We are currently looking for a full-time SEO and copywriter to join our marketing team. You will be working in our office creating copy for our website and ensuring we are at the top of our SEO game. You will have to be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and be calm and adaptable. You will need to be reliable, organised and have excellent time management. It is essential that you have a “can-do” attitude as we are a small team and all rely on each other to perform our duties to the best of our abilities.

 As Copywriter and SEO expert your key responsibilities will include:

· Overall website copywriting:

· You will be required to write copy found on different pages on the website. Such as the delivery information page, landing pages and home page

· Clear understanding of different areas of the business to help write the best content available

· Task management to manage your time to refresh content on high footfall pages on the site to ensure we are catching customers

· Writing content that holds Key Words and following SEO best practices and trends

· Update older content and add effective calls to action to improve user engagement 

Managing product pages:

· Create new products for our website. This will require an understanding about each product, what it is and what its features and benefits are. You will lead this process and source the relevant info from the team and research online.

· Copywriting product descriptions to ensure they are catchy, hold key product details and most importantly are SEO optimised.

· Ensure products only go live with accurate information, pricing, and clear product photos.

· Working back through all older products to ensure they meet company standards and are updated on a regular basis as needed. 

Website and marketing SEO:

· Conduct keyword research using various tools

· Follow SEO trends and stay up to date with new tools and practices

· Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps in content

· Track important SEO metrics including organic traffic, conversion rates and time spent on page

· Report on performance metrics comparing them to SEO goals and benchmarking data

· Implement link-building strategies and manage backlinks to build online authority.

· Creating Monthly SEO reports showcasing progress and growth

Blogging and additional copy writing:

· Creating monthly blogs on company activities and new products.

· Documenting car builds on forums and our website

· Landing page copywriting for our sub-brands

Qualifications / Experience:

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an SEO position or similar

· 2-3 years of proven experience as a copywriter or related role, preferably within the automotive industry or similar.

· Expertise in Google Analytics

· Understanding ranking factors and search optimisation practices

· Strong analytical skills

· Positive attitude!

Marketing Internship - 1yr

The Role: 

The Marketing Department has a role for a self-starting intern to assist with writing, categorisation and photography of its product range. Alongside bringing products to market through email marketing, print marketing and all aspects of digital marketing including Pay Per Click advertising via Google and Bing and social media advertising via Facebook and Instagram.   

The intern will gain experience in all aspects of Google PPC from Google Ad Words to Google Merchant Centre as well as experience in Google Trends and Google Analytics to enable success to be tracked, managed and reported.  

The Candidate:  

A self-starter with an eye for detail who’s ready to get involved and adapt to a busy Marketing Team. 

Required Skills: 

Excellent writing skills and knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation. An understanding of various marketing channels with a working knowledge of Word, Excel and the Adobe suite of products such as Photoshop and Indesign. 

The Team: 

The role will report to the Marketing Director and work closely with a Marketing Executive, an email Marketing Executive, SEO Writer, Designer and an external SEO and Digital Advertising Agency.
