If you have an Early Beetle or a Splitscreen Type 2 that's still running the original 6 volt electrics, and wish to upgrade to 12 volt our conversion bundle kit offers the majority of components to carry out a basic conversion.
This conversion kit uses a 55 Amp alternator and is suitable for all engines with a removable Generator stand built from 1960 on.
