VW T5 Doka / Crew Cab

T5 (2005) Transporter imported from Ireland in 2016.

Custom wooden rear bed. Yellow Pine, Japanese burn technique to preserve, then multiple layers of antique pine stain. Flat bed section also varnished.

20 inch banded steelies, full set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4.

Carpet and rubber matted interior. Front seats are Audi TT leather, currently with diamond stitch seat covers.

Rear seats are custom fit - taken from a Transit custom, fold in half for a table, fold forward for extra load space, fully removable on click fit rails for added space when needed. They have inbuilt seatbelts, child seats fit perfectly and my kids love it! One left seat and one centre - means still space for bags and/or tools with both seats still in.

10 inch touch screen head unit. Runs on Android, it does a lot more than I know how to work, but the radio is good and Bluetooth is easy! 2 x USB adapters from the rear for charging.

Centre console added - has a sliding top for storage, cup holder up front.


I’ve owned this for just over a year and it’s been a great truck. Really useful for work stuff, but comfy and fun for family trips too. The chassis is in fantastic condition. I got it with some basic service history (it’s a 16 year old truck after all) It was given a full major service when I bought it - oil, all filters etc. and then another major service prior to MOT.

I have one key for it.

V5 is present and in my name.

Was originally red but has been resprayed burnt Orange. I had the front bumper Color coded when I got it so I have some of the paint as a spare/touch up.

This is a used and still being used truck. It’s 16 years old and has had work done by previous owners as well as while owned by me. It is not a show winner but it goes well and does everything I’ve needed it to. Please don’t expect a perfect truck!
