VW T25 AUTOSLEEPER TRIDENT 4 BERTH

For sale is my vw t25 autosleeper 4 berth with the 5 speed gearbox and 1.6 turbo diesel running gear. One of the last t25 Auto-Sleepers produced. - with interesting registration!!


I am a vw enthusiast and restorer and purchased this camper in 2017. It is registered in my name since then.
The camper has undergone a very sympathetic restoration where the utmost care has been taken to keep the camper as original as possible. Any corrosion has been cut away and replaced with new oe panels. Both rear wheel arches and offside sill panel and fuel filler/arch panel are the only replacements needed. I have photos showing the new panel work prior to painting.
Most of the paintwork on this van is original and in extremely clean condition.

The interior is all completely original and very clean. Only needing a new set of curtains which were recently replaced with contrasting colours.

Unusually the full crockery set is still present which is very rare indeed!
All the appliances have been tested and working. 3 way Electrolux fridge and propex gas central night heater with new gas bottle included. All interior lighting has new tubes and sink water pump in good working order.

This camper has the very desirable 1.6 td engine and 5 speed gearbox meaning it can cruise at 70 mph on the motorway and return a very respectable 40-45 mpg. The engine is stong and the gearbox is smooth.

There are many old campers out there that have had shoddy repairs and if you have been looking for a while you have probably seen some of them. If you are looking for a very nice, clean, original camper which will actually increase in value then this is it.

The van went straight through the mot last week with no advisories. I had both rear wheel cylinders replaced as a precaution. The timing belt and a full service was done around November last year.

The camper has now covered 188k miles which equates to less than 6000 miles per year and is nothing for the robust Volkswagen diesel engines in these vans. The previous owner enjoying many trips around Europe including - Lithuania, Spain, Croatia, France, Austria and Cornwall to name a few as seen on the many stickers displayed on the dining table. Only 2 previous owners on the camper before me. Who meticulously maintained it to be sure of the best possible reliability for these trips.
