The EMPI GTV-2 Cylinder head is designed with performance modifications in mind.


The EMPI GTV-2 Cylinder Head is compatible with VW Type 1 engines, offering significant performance upgrades over stock heads.


Included with the GTV-2 cylinder head are valves, springs, and necessary hardware. We reccommend professional fitting for optimal results.


Constructed from high-quality aluminum, the GTV-2 head features CNC porting, which enhances airflow and performance. Benefits include improved power and efficiency, making it suitable for both street and racing applications. The CNC porting process significantly boosts performance by optimising the intake and exhaust flow. Valves and springs are precision-engineered for durability and performance.


Regular inspection and maintenance are recommended to ensure longevity and optimal performance.

Suitable for 90.5 / 92 bore for 1776 and 2110cc with 40 x 35.5 stainless steel valves.
