Mahle pistons and cylinders are of the highest quality. The pistons are forged and the cylinders are exceptionally thick to ensure superior strength.
They are specifically designed to perform well even with turbocharged and nitrous-injected engines.
These 2180cc forged barrels and pistons are suitable for heavily modified 1300 to 1600cc upright air-cooled engines built from 1960 on.
This set of forged Mahle 92mm barrels and pistons fitted to a 1300 to 1600cc engines using a 82mm stroker crank will give you a capacity of 2180cc.
78mm Crankshaft = 2074cc 86mm Crankshaft = 2287cc
These will require substantial machining to the engine case and cylinder heads to fit.
Or you can use one of our new Auto Linea engine cases (J48294) and cylinder heads that are pre machined to accept large bore barrel and piston sets.
This set of four barrels and pistons are supplied complete with rings, gudgeon pins and clips.
