The VolksWorld Show is coming up fast, and it’s set to be a totally refreshed take on the long-running event. Now known as VolksWorld Plus, the event will still be held at the Sandown Racecourse, but will now feature classic Porsche and retro water-cooled VWs as well as the air-cooled Volkswagens you’d expect to see at VolksWorld.
Just Kampers will be at VolksWorld again for 2024, and we’re really looking forward to catching up with people, checking out the amazing cars on display, and hearing what you’ve been up to over the last few months.

We’re celebrating 35 years of Just Kampers!
2024 marks 35 years since Just Kampers was established, back in 1989. Although JK’s official birthday won’t be until 1 September, we’re getting started early and celebrating 35 years of Just Kampers at VolksWorld Plus!

Shows like VolksWorld are always excellent for putting faces to names, especially as you’ve likely spoken to people like Shaun, Chet, and Heidi on the phone already.
Our very own ‘Workshop Mark’ (who you’ll probably notice from our YouTube videos) will also be at VolksWorld on Saturday 16, so if you’ve got any technical questions or requests for future how-to videos, make sure you drop by the Just Kampers stand on Saturday to chat with him.

VolksWorld is always a great deadline for getting our Volkswagens ready, and a few of us are scrabbling to finish off projects and get our rides roadworthy so we can drive to the show in our classic VWs.
A couple of them will be parked up on the Just Kampers stand, inside the Surrey Hall, but you’ll find others in the car park outside.
We’re Bringing Some of Our Museum Pieces
Alright, museum might be stretching it a bit, but we’ve gathered up a pretty cool collection of interesting Volkswagen relics over the last 35 years, but not many people get to see them, so we’re getting everything cleaned up and ready for display at VolksWorld Plus!
You might have seen the cut-away engine and gearbox from an early Splitscreen that we picked up recently, which was originally used by VW Hannover for training and demonstrations in the 1950s. You’ll be able to see this, and a few other cool pieces, in person on the Just Kampers stand at VolksWorld.
