Fire Fighter 2 X 2 Metre Fire Suppression System Kit

This kit includes a pair of two-metre Engine Fire Fighter units, which have been built specifically to protect you, your family and your vehicle from fires in your engine compartment.

Its pressurised flexible tube contains a FE-36 non-corrosive and non-toxic agent that leaves no residue.

The Engine Fire Fighter will only activate if exposed to flames, which will melt the plastic tubing which holds the fire fighting agent.

This means that the device will only trigger in the event of a real engine fire, and will not go off if the ambient temperature in your vehicle gets exessively high, either in hot weather or if your engine is working especially hard.

We recommend this kit of two of the 2-metre Engine Fire Fighter units if you’ve got a vehicle with a large engine bay, or if you want to make extra sure that your vehicle and its engine are protected.

Hassle-free to install, simply use the supplied ties. No other power or external triggers are required.

Each Engine Fire Fighter is fitted with a gauge, which you can check periodically to ensure that the unit is still primed and ready to trigger.

The hand on the gauge should point to 0 on the left side, and is ready as long as the hand is still pointing inside the green area. If it’s pointing in the red, then it’s time to replace your Engine Fire Fighter, as the unit has expired. These units have a shelf life of around 7 years.
