Good quality reproduction product. Replacement air deflector plate for aircooled engines. Sold individually, two required per engine.
Fits all VW Beetles from 1964 to 2003, VW T2 Split Screens from 1964 to 1967 and 1600cc T2 Bays from 1967 to 1979.
Clips onto the cylinder studs and sits on the underside of the engine between the two cylinders.
These plates direct air from the centre of the engine across the cylinders. Very often missing and a very important part of the cooling system.
They can be fitted with the engine in the vehicle but pushrod tubes need to be removed, and replaced with adjustable ones.
