The EMPI 34 PICT 3 VW Carburettor is a top-notch replacement option for Dual Port setups. It features a 70 Air Jet, 127.5 Main Jet, and a .55 Idle Jet, along with additional 60 Idle and 130 Jets for those using fuels with ethanol. This model includes a 12-Volt Choke and Idle Solenoid, plus an adjustable float for optimal performance.


Specifically designed for dual port, 1600cc engines, the EMPI 98-1289-B carburettor adheres to original VW specifications. It mirrors the factory unit in both appearance and functionality, making it an excellent choice for stock engine setups. The 12-volt choke is compatible with 6-volt systems, though it will take longer to heat up. If you're using a 6-volt system, you'll need to remove the cut-off solenoid and seal the corresponding part on the carburettor. The package includes one base gasket for easy installation onto the intake manifold.

Fits 1600cc twin port VW Beetles built from 1971 to 1998, and VW T2 Bays from 1971 to 1979.
