Replacing the 1600cc engine on your VW T2 Bay 1967 to 1979?

If you've sourced a Beetle engine, it may not have the case drilled to take the engine support bar.

You'll need this engine bar adapter for T2 which fits to the oil pump cover and allows the bar to be bolted in place.
