1970 T2 Bay For sale

Purchased 12/ 11/ 2016 from Autobarns Sports Cars Ltd our 1970 Type 2 has been garaged since and only occasionally used in recent years. A full restoration was carried out by the previous owner. This was fully documented and published in “Volksworld – Camper & Bus” magazine. Regularly MOT'd, the current certificate is valid until April 2025.
She is an authentic RHD VW Type 2, bay window camper van. First registered in October 1970, with a 1. 6L engine, green and cream bodywork with a Paris Beetles panoramic sunroof. Internal layout has full width rock and roll bed with lap belts. The main interior can be configured to seat four when on the move, or can be configured to a very comfortable and spacious double bed arrangement by pulling out the full width rock and roll bed. With the easily removable table in place there is space and seating in the back, comfortably for four, and more cozily for six. Internal led lights run off the leisure battery, as do the diesel heater and sound system. There is a 240v mains hook up accessible from the underside which supplies a 13A socket and usb points. She has been designed without an integrated kitchen but enjoys more space as a result and works perfectly well as a camper. There is storage under the rear facing bench seat and rock and roll bed to accommodate bedding and cooking equipment. She is perfectly designed for weddings and event hires. There is a garland that comes as part of the deal.
