This Right hand driver 1600cc VW single cab was built in 1972.
The interior of the VW is basic as VW build for the commercial trade. The driver seat is not original but could be re-installed. The passenger seat is the standard 2/3 seat in its original cover. All seats fitted with seat belts. The door cards are Salvador Dali insided, customised with a unique mural design but you can change to originals if you desire.
Quarter light openers are installed on both cab doors and a full carpet set has been fitted.
The exterior is solid but the front panel has been modified from a late bay window as it still has the high indicator lens recess as well as the working low level indicators. The single cab also has a 2 bow roof rack attached.
The pickup bed is solid with only surface rust visible. The side and tail gates are not original to the bus, however the installed gates do not look out of place. At the side of the pick is the lockable treasure chest in which LED lighting has been fitted to ensure good viewing.
Standard wheels and commercial hubcaps are fitted to the standard suspension with makes the ride quality extremely pleasurable.
Substantial work on the engine has been carried out by the specialist team at absolute VW in which details can be seen with accompanying paper work.
