Cherished 1972 Type 2 Camper Van For Sale

The time has come to reluctantly sell our beloved VW Camper Van after 24 years of happy ownership - as we no longer use her for Festivals or Surf Trips. We bought the Van in January 1999 after a full "Bare Metal" restoration by the previous owner (we have some old photographs) a few years earlier.
Throughout our ownership the Van has been fully Serviced and Maintained by a local VW Aircooled Specialist - with no expense spared. We have all the MoT Certificates going back to 1998 and a file of Invoices. Major works over the years include New Sills; New Guttering; New Cab Doors and a Reconditioned Engine in 2011.
The Van is driven weekly and has covered 110,500 miles - albeit we have only covered around 2,000 miles per annum over the last few years.
There are Bench Seats in the back - which fold out into a large Double Bed. There are also 2 x Bunk Beds in the Pop Top and lots of storage. A removable table plus a 2 x Ring Gas Cooker with Grill and Sink complete the internal Equipment.
The Van is Tax Exempt and is MoT'd until September 2023. It is a very solid and reliable Vehicle - but it would benefit from a few cosmetic touches. However this is reflected in the very competitive price for the Van
