Vanlife Festival is a major event taking place at the West Midlands Showground, Shrewsbury, and was one of the most talked about Festivals of 2023 in the vanlife community, making it a complete sell-out.
Vanlife Festival is an event where people can exhibit their unique vehicles, share their adventures, meet like-minded people, and pass on their priceless knowledge to others. We welcome all makes and models from the smallest of micro campers to coaches, horseboxes, coach-built, motorhomes, tents, adventure trucks, self-build campers, day vans, custom vans, and of course everything else in between. Overall, a festival that caters to everybody with a friendly atmosphere and a vibe that everybody’s talking about!
Vanlife Festival offers an all-inclusive family weekend for everyone, with plenty to do from, workshops, travel talks, live music to suit all throughout the weekend, a night market with quirky traders, tasty street food, a selection of bars, fire-pits, bespoke traders specialising in kit accessories and gear for everybody, inspirational display vehicles, kids entertainment, funfair, dog friendly, bushcraft and outdoor activities, and much more.
A down-to-earth, sensibly priced event for the whole family (children under 5 free entry), focusing on the heart of a community who loves to explore the world of vanlife, the great outdoors, and everything surrounding it.
Hosted in the heart of Shropshire, West Midlands, this picturesque venue is easily accessible from anywhere within the UK.
Just a 10 minute walk along the beautiful river will lead you to the popular Shrewsbury tourist town centre.
Our vision is to inspire, showcase vanlife and the great outdoors, bringing the vanlife community and others together to one location. Displaying every variety of a home on wheels – from a thousand-pound micro camper to a million-pound truck.
Pet friendly festival
All pets are welcome with considerate owners. Dogs must be on a lead and all dog mess must be cleaned up.
Electric hook up points
There is a limited amount of electric hook up available and this will be prioritised to those with special requirements for medical needs. Anyone that requires Electric please email info@thevanlifefestival.co.uk . There will be a small additional charge for this payable directly to the showground.
Generators
Campers are not allowed to use petrol/diesel generators when on site. The noise and pollution generated does not fit in with our ethos of a relaxing festival. Solar powered power stations are more than welcome.
Disability/Mobility
Please purchase your ticket as normal and then email us if you have a blue badge and accessibility needs requiring you to be closer to the main event.
