    • Hi, do these come with fitting instructions? many thanks
    • Answer: They don't I'm afraid although they are very simple to fit. The is a fuel in and fuel out. A live and earth. If you have any problems give us a call and we can help you out if you get stuck.

    • Does anyone know what psi to set regulator at whne using this pump?
    • Answer: You want to start at 1.5 psi and increase in 1/2 increments. If it suffers fuel starvation at higher speeds and rpm increase it. You want to run it at the lowest pressure possible but running correctly

    • When pumping does this run continously or does it stop pumping when the float chamber is full? Or more precisly does it sound as though it is pumping all the time the engine is running?
    • Answer: Hello. It will constantly run hence you have to also use a pressure regulator to stop damage to the carburettor

    • Have replaced pump tank and fuel pipes still no fuel pumping to carb any suggestions cheers bob
    • Answer: Start from the tank and work back to the carb making sure there are no restrictions. If its a beetle it could be the hard line in the tunnel is blocked. once you have established all is clear and you have fuel to the pump then test the pump its self. If its mechanical turn the engine over with the carb feed pointed into a jar. If you have no fuel it is most likely to be the pump. Mechanical pumps membranes do fail when old. Give us a call if you like to discuss your options. Thanks Alex
