Curtains for Offside (Right) Window Ford Transit Custom from 2013 Onwards

Getting yourself a set of blackout curtains for your Ford Transit Custom is an excellent investment, whether you’re looking to stay warm and sleep in past dawn in your camper conversion, or you just don’t want everyone being able to see inside your van when you’re parked up. These curtains have been bespoke designed for the forward side window on your Transit Custom, which makes them really easy to fit and ensures they look excellent, too.

Fits the forward side window on the offside (right) of the right-hand drive Ford Transit Custom built from 2013 onwards. This is the window located opposite the sliding door. Left-hand drive vehicles will have the sliding door on the offside (right), and so will need a different set of curtains. Check out J43184 and J43182.

The curtains: Designed to fit perfectly around the forward side window on your Ford Transit Custom, these curtains are easy to fit and can make a massive difference to the look and feel of your van, whether you’re still using it as a van or you’ve converted it into your dream camper.

The curtain rails are pre-shaped to the correct dimensions for your window, which means you won’t need to mess around trying to reshape them. The material for the curtains has also been cut and sewn to the right shape, so there won’t be any gaps or edges for sunlight to sneak in through while you’re camping. They’re also really easy to install, and come with everything you need to fit the rail and hang the curtains on it.

Fitting the curtains:

Please note that you’ll need to stretch these curtains while you’re fitting them, to ensure that they fill the window fully, and to give them the pleated look.

The material: Knitted jersey has been used to create the curtains, which is an excellent material for use inside of a van. It’s hard-wearing and tough, but also soft and light-weight, which is a perfect balance. The way that knitted fabric is produced means that the fibres are packed close together, so it’s great for creating blackout curtains. You’ll need to stretch the curtains while you’re fitting them, to get the pleated look, but the knitted jersey has a wonderful drape to it once you’ve hung them. The fabric also conforms to the 95/28 EC standard, meaning that it’s been tested and approved for flame resistance.
