Matching curtains

If you’re converting your Caddy or Caddy Maxi into a camper with this tinted window, why not get a set of blackout curtains for the double rear doors, too? Check out J43177. These curtains are supplied with pre-formed curtain tracks, as well as all the screws, hooks, glides and end stops you’ll need to install them.

Installing your new tinted window

You can install one window, or several, into your vehicle by yourself, if you have the tools, experience and the confidence to do so. However, we do advise that windows are installed by a trained, experienced professional to avoid any errors being made. If you’re at all unsure of how to fit your new windows, it’s always best to have the glass fitted by a pro, who will be able to ensure that it’s done quickly, safely and securely. Watch our fitting guide video for information on DIY installation of window glass.

Optional glass bonding kit

Whether you’re tackling the installation of these windows as a DIY project, or you’re getting an expert in to do the job, you’ll need a window bonding kit: J18126.

This optional fitting kit is available separately, and includes a tube of adhesive bonding agent, to fix the glass in place, the felt applicator to spread the adhesive to where you need it, as well as a cleaning sachet and bottle of glass primer, to get the windows prepped and ready to be installed.

Will fitting new windows affect my vehicle insurance?

Please note that fitting windows to your vehicle, where there weren’t windows before, may affect your insurance. We advise contacting your insurance company before fitting the windows, to see whether it will affect your policy and how.
