Ideal for safely containign a smaller gas bottle, this mild steel gas locker will give you peace of mind and an additional layer of protection against anything going wrong with the gas system in your camper van.

At a glance:

• Created from mild steel, to withstand any damage and resist corrosion,

• The detachable front cover is held in place with two quarter turn compression latches,

• A clip on EPDM seal gives the front cover a positive seal,

• All of the lockers inside joints are fully sealed with the correct sealant,

• All of this ensures that the gas locker is fully gas tight.

Powder coated in black RAL9005 eggshell finish.

Safety information:

The gas locker is designed to be sealed and designed to help installers meet BS EN 1949:2021, assuming that it is correctly installed.

The 50mm upstand at the bottom of the box provides a zone for LPG to collect in, since LPG is heavier than air. A hole that is drilled by the customer in the base allows the LPG to vent out of the bottom of the vehicle.

Vents should be designed in accordance with BS EN 1949:2021 and located suitably - ducted away from hot surfaces or sources of ignition.
