These replacement rear light units use LED bulbs, and fit inside the original Hella chrome reverse lamp housing - J45997. They’ll also fit into this aftermarket Reversing Light Assembly - J17087.
They’ve been designed as a quick and easy way to upgrade the brake lights and indicators to LEDs on your 12-volt Volkswagen, to help you be safe and be seen on the roads.
It’s a quick and simple ‘plug and play’ replacement which will give you brighter tail lights, brake lights, reverse lights, and indicators to help keep you and other road users safe.
Fits classic Volkswagens with 12-volt electrical circuits, including VW Beetles built from 1967 to 2003, VW T2 Bays built from 1967 to 1979, and VW Karmann Ghias built from 1967 to 1974.
These LED light units will also fit earlier Volkswagens, which have been converted from running on 6v electricity to 12v.
