This new-style thermostat for Type 1 engines requires modification of the mounting bracket to enable fitting. Temperature range from 65ºC to 70ºC.

Fits to all 1200cc to 1600cc air-cooled engines in VW Beetles built from 1960 to 2003, VW T2 Splits built from 1960 to 1967, and VW T2 Bays built from 1967 to 1979.
