Westfield Zodiac Premium Drive Away Awning (Air)

This great quality Westfield Zodiac awning gives you an easy way to add extra space to your camping set up, without having to carry traditional poles to hold the structure up. The air awning is instead supported by inflatable beams which run through the frame, so you can quickly pitch the awning with minimal effort.

Designed for campervans with a roof height at between 180cm to 270cm, to allow it to attach neatly to your vehicle.

The canvas of the awning is made with a lightweight HydroTech® Ripstop fabric, which provides top performance without the bulk and is specially coated with a UV-resistant polyurethane.

This advanced material maintains its colour, shape, and durability, making it ideal for extended outdoor adventures, while also being highly resistant to damage and impressively waterproof!

Dimensions:

The Zodiac Premium Lite drive-away air awning itself measures 280cm wide, 220cm deep, and 210cm tall, while the connecting ‘tunnel’ which goes from the back of your awning to the sliding door on your vehicle measures 280cm wide, between 65 to 90cm deep, and will vary in height depending on how tall the roof of your camper is.

Inflating your Zodiac Air Awning:

As this is an air awning, it uses a set of inflatable tubes to hold the structure up, rather than traditional poles. You’ll get a pump included with the awning, which uses an Advanced Air System® that lets you inflate the whole structure quickly using a single point, so you only need to pump air into one location rather than several.

These inflatable tubes are created with three layers of material and reinforced with aluminium for optimal stability, so you won’t need to worry about your awning collapsing, sagging, or needing to be topped up with air part way through your trip.

What is a Drive-Away Awning?

This Westfield Zodiac awning, like many of the awnings we stock here at Just Kampers, has been designed as a drive-away awning, which means that it doesn’t rely on your camper to hold it up, and can stand on its own if you want to take your vehicle out for the day.

If you detach the awning from your vehicle it will still stand up, and essentially become a tent, which you can leave it behind if you’re leaving your campsite for a while. The whole thing zips up securely, and will be waiting for you when you get back - just park your camper up next to it, and re-attach it.
