EMPI has been synonymous with air-cooled VW tuning parts in California since the 1950s. piston ring compressoronce the piston liner is back on, with a bit of jiggling the clamp can be opened up to remove over the liner. A good buy.

easy to useA simple easy to use piston ring clamp that you can get off once piston is fitted, unlike the halfords one which will not fully open to remove fron con rod.
