Is your battery flat? Does your fridge keep drawing all the power? Battery isolation switches are designed to protect your battery from draining. If you’ve got appliances in your camper which require a consistent energy supply, protect your battery and your appliances by setting up a leisure battery.

Alongside your new battery, you’ll require a switch to control when and how the energy in your bus is distributed.

Features:

• Made of heavy-duty plastic – Hard-wearing and resistant material,

• Universal – Ideal for different campers, motorhomes, RV’s and caravans,

• 4 Positions – Select one battery at a time, both or none,

• Twin batteries – Made to distribute power from main and leisure battery,

• Dimensions – H 74 mm x W 68 mm x D 68 mm,

• Voltage – 12 V – 48 V.

Why should I install a battery isolation switch?

When batteries are connected to a circuit with fridges, heaters and other leisure equipment, they can drain fast. Even when switched off, your appliances still draw a tiny amount of power so they're ready to start-up as soon as you need them. Over time, this power loss can leave you with a dead battery. By installing a battery isolation switch, you can ensure that your leisure battery takes the strain, and you don't end up draining your main vehicle battery.

This battery isolation switch enables you to draw power in 4 different options.

Here are some examples:

• Select off if you require no power drawn at all,

• Select setting 1 if you want power drawn from your main battery,

• Select setting 2 if you want power drawn from your leisure battery,

• Select 1 & 2 at the same time if you require both batteries operating at the same time.

Please note that setting 1 and 2 aren’t specific to the examples given here, your setup is dependant on how you have wired up your motorhome.

Specifications:

• Height 74 mm,

We recommend the use of this switch if you’re looking to extend the longevity of your components. If you care for your camper, your camper will care for you.
