Highlander Dubs was started by a group of VW enthusiast & friends. Our love for festivals began at CamperJam #12. We love to attend shows and events, and most importantly, have a good laugh along the way. What started as a shared passion for Volkswagens has grown into a really friendly and welcoming group.
We have a real mix of VWs in the club, from T4/T5/T6 campers, Transporters, air-cooled VWs, and hopefully one day we will add a split screen to the mix. There’s no particular style or model required — if you love VWs, you’ll fit right in!
We’re based around Telford and usually meet up at VW festivals around the UK. We get together monthly as well as arranging extra meets and outings throughout the year.
We attend a variety of VW shows and events, including CamperJam, Volksfest, and BusFest to name a few. We also enjoy travelling to events together, and the convoy there is often just as much fun as the show itself!
As well as the shows, we organise camping weekends throughout the year. It’s a great opportunity to spend time together outside of the usual meets and get to know everyone.
We’re always happy to welcome new members. Whether you’ve got a show-winning VW, a daily driver, a project that’s still being built, or you’re simply a VW enthusiast, everyone is welcome. You don’t have to know everything about VWs either; there’s always someone in the group willing to help, share advice or lend a hand.
For me, what makes Highlander Dubs special is that it’s much more than just a car club. The VWs are what bring us together, but it’s the friendships, laughs, weekends away, cruises and memories we make that make the club what it is. There’s a really good mix of people, and everyone is there for the same reason — a genuine love of VWs and enjoying the scene together.
We’re looking forward to meeting plenty more VW enthusiasts along the way!
