Fire Fighter 3 Metre Automatic Engine Bay Fire Suppression System

The ‘Engine Fire Fighter’ 3 - metre engine bay fire suppression system is designed to give you and your family peace of mind, knowing that you have safety measures in place in the event of an engine fire.

This automatic fire suppression system for vehicles stops engine fires before they are able to cause permanent damage to your car, camper or van.

All you need to do is fit it into your engine bay using the cable ties provided, and the Fire Fighter will trigger automatically in the event of an engine fire when it’s exposed to flames.

This ensures that the Engine Fire Fighter only activates when there’s a real engine fire, and does not go off when your engine bay reaches a high ambient temperature.

This automatic engine bay fire extinguisher is made up of a pressurised flexible tube containing a FE-36 non-corrosive, non-toxic agent that leaves no residue in your engine bay. and It can be easily be cleaned in event of activation. Not only is the Engine Fire Fighter fire suppression system cost-effective, the tube system itself is easy to install using the supplied ties.

It requiring requires no other power or external trigger. In the event of an engine bay fire, the tube will activate when exposed to flames, which will melt the tube and release the fire fighting gas.

Each Engine Fire Fighter is fitted with a gauge, which you can check periodically to ensure that the unit is still primed and ready to trigger.

The hand on the gauge should point to 0 on the left side, and is ready as long as the hand is still pointing inside the green area. If it’s pointing in the red, then it’s time to replace your Engine Fire Fighter, as the unit has expired. These units have a shelf life of around 7 years.
