How to Install a 100W Solar Panel Kit on a VW T25 Westfalia

Learn how to install a 100W semi-flexible solar panel kit on a VW T25 Westfalia with this practical video guide from Just Kampers.

In this video, we take you through the installation of a semi-flexible solar panel system on a VW T25 Westfalia camper, providing a useful guide if you're looking to add solar charging to your campervan.

A solar panel system allows you to use sunlight to help keep your camper's batteries charged while you're camping or away from mains electricity. The solar charge controller regulates the power produced by the panel before it reaches the battery, helping to provide a suitable charging supply.

The setup shown uses a 100W ultralight semi-flexible solar panel together with a dual-battery solar charge controller. A dual-battery controller can be particularly useful in a campervan setup where both a leisure battery and vehicle starter battery need to be managed.

The semi-flexible panel has a low-profile design, making it well suited to installation on the roof of a VW T25 Westfalia without the bulk of a conventional rigid solar panel.

Watch the video to see how the 100W solar panel setup is installed on the T25 Westfalia and how the different components of the solar charging system are brought together.
