Whether you just want your seats to look cooler, or you want to protect them from dirt, mud, and UV damage, a set of new seat covers are a great way to refresh the look of your van. In this handy guide, we'll walk you through the step-by-step process of fitting seat covers to your van's driver and passenger seats, leaving you with a professional and snug fit. Step One: Preparing the seat covers Start by unpacking the seat covers and familiarizing yourself with the different parts. This will make your job easier later on, so you’re not trying to remember which cover goes on which part of which seat. The following steps are largely the same for either the drivers or passengers seats, and will apply whether your Transporter has a single or double passenger seat. Step Two: Removing the seat base Locate and remove the circular retaining clip that holds the hinge mechanism in place for the passenger seat base. Pull the seat base towards you to detach it easily. Step Three: Fitting the seat base covers Place the passenger seat cover over the passenger seat base, tucking the edges over as you work your way around. Use the metal hooks provided to attach the elasticated retaining straps underneath the seat base, and use pliers to close the hooks if necessary for a secure hold. Now we’re ready to fit the cover to the back of the passenger seat. If your van has a bulkhead you’ll need to undo the eight bolts holding the passenger seat down to tip it forward to get to the next part. Step Four: Fitting the seat back covers Remove the headrests and carefully place the cover over the rear seat section. Feed the central passenger seat belt buckle through the hole in the cover and zip up for a proper fit.Tilt the passenger seat forward as far as possible and pull the seat cover into place. Push the headrest post guides through the pre-punched holes and zip up the retaining zips on both sides of the seat back.Loosen or fully remove the protective trim on the front seat base for easier installation. Tuck the cover in place and use the provided straps and hooks to secure it. Ensure the front and rear of the headrest covers are correctly identified and fitted. Step Five: Fitting the armrest covers Slide the armrest covers into place for the finishing touch. Any wrinkles caused by packing will smooth out with use, leaving your seats looking luxurious and comfortable. Step Six: Final checks and replacement Replace all of your seat headrests and ensure all zips are securely fastened. Your ordinary seats have now been transformed into luxury seats, ready to elevate your van's interior! And that’s it, you’re all done! We hope you found this guide helpful, and we hope you really enjoy the new look and feel of your Transporter’s front seats.{{widget type="Magento\CatalogWidget\Block\Product\ProductsList" template="Magento_CatalogWidget::product/widget/content/grid.phtml" anchor_text="" id_path="" show_pager="0" products_count="10" condition_option="sku" condition_option_value="J42757, J42291, J42290, J42756" type_name="Catalog Products List" conditions_encoded="^[`1`:^[`aggregator`:`all`,`new_child`:``,`type`:`Magento||CatalogWidget||Model||Rule||Condition||Combine`,`value`:`1`^],`1--1`:^[`operator`:`()`,`type`:`Magento||CatalogWidget||Model||Rule||Condition||Product`,`attribute`:`sku`,`value`:`J42757, J42291, J42290, J42756`^]^]" sort_order="price_high_to_low"}}Did you know that our colleagues at Just Kampers Insurance have been offering specialist vehicle insurance since 1998?You can get a great deal on insurance for a huge range of vehicles, from daily drivers to treasured campervans, and everything in between. • A guide to applying rust prevention treatment to a T2 Bay

A guide to applying rust prevention treatment to a T2 Bay

A short guide covering the basics of applying rust prevention treatment using a Waxoyl high-pressure applicator.(00:14) So today we're going to take a bit more of a serious look at rust prevention treatment. The weather is glorious, i'm hoping that the van is nice and dry now this is a perfect time of year to do it. Unfortunately, i have to strip out most of the interior, but uh once I've done that we'll get into it, so today I'm going to be using one of these J40787 high-pressure sprayer applicators. It comes out of the box with one of these nozzles, but for our basic application, we're going to be using this, and this requires this little adapter (01:00) you basically pressurize it with this handle on top and then use this at the back to spray if you need to change the nozzle then there's a small button on the side here to depressurize you just lift that now one thing you might find on days when it's a bit cooler is your wax all comes out all thick and goopy one way to deal with this once you've reattached the pump just to pop the bottle in some hot water this will make it a lot more fluid and easier to apply now for spots which are hard to reach (02:04) like the inside of this door, for example, there's this long, thin hose which can be inserted deep inside the door recommend you have some cardboard to catch any surplus so another spot to get good access is these uh drainage holes here, four jacking points also, worth doing (03:25) now i've been having a little bit of trouble with water ingress inside this door especially down the bottom there and whilst i have already done some wax oiling in the past i think it's better to be safe than sorry so next we're going to tackle the tailgate i think looking at the inside of the rear panel i've had a little bit of water ingress due to this being the original rubber seal so i'm going to wax all along the inside here up to this soundproofing [Applause] of course it's always handy to have a bit of blue roll on hand (04:23) just to clean up any excess you'll also find these trim clip holes really useful for getting inside hard to access areas now to get some wax into the front cap step you're going to have to drill a couple of holes starting with a pilot hole and then moving on to something a little more substantial so that you can fit these 10 millimeter cavity plugs so (05:55) now the front panel we're in luck because if we remove these kick panels we can get access down through the front here so now i've got to let all this wax dry out before i put the interior back in this has been very much a basic guide to rust prevention treatment covering the main rust points obviously i could go further in terms of the chassis rails and the underside but this should be enough to get you started to discover more great products visit our online store at www

Product Demo: 100W Ultralight Fold Up Solar Panel Kit

A short demonstration of our 100W Ultralight Fold Up Solar Panel Kit.(00:04) So today I'm going to be demoing this J42558 100-watt fold-out solar panel, which comes in a nice compact package and it can be easily set up as I'm about to show you. you got stands,  crocodile clips to attach it to your battery, this extension lead and the charging controller. Now, if we zip this back up, I'll show you how easy it is to set up (01:16) attach the crocodile clips to the positive and negative terminals on the battery I'll actually wait to the crocodile clips are in place before I make the connection to the extension lead. Now you can tell the panel is producing current by the display here on the charge controller it's also worth mentioning that the charge controller has these USB outputs, and as long as it's connected to your battery, you can actually charge a phone. So, as you can see, this is a really cost-effective way of adding solar power to an older (01:54) vehicle like this without actually having to modify the bodywork, you can also mount it in a number of places, including off the back of the pop top or on the roof rack here or even on the front windscreen it all folds up into a nice compact package that you can take anywhere you go to discover more great product,s visit our online store at www.weiu.net

Whether you use your van for leisure or work, safeguarding it from the elements is crucial to maintaining its condition and making sure you can enjoy it for years to come. We’ve been part of the VW community since 1989, which is why we’ve developed this JK van cover designed specifically for the VW T4, T5, and T6. This quick guide will take you through the steps to follow when fitting your JK vehicle cover, to make sure it goes on correctly and will protect your vehicle as best it can. Step One: Identifying the front We’ve worked hard to make sure our vehicle covers are as user-friendly as possible. There’s a small JK label which will help you identify the front end when you’re laying your vehicle cover out.  If you’ve got one of our luxury vehicle covers, you’ll also have access points to the cab doors and sliding door(s), which will also help you identify which end is which. Step Two: Placing the cover over your Transporter Now that you’ve correctly identified the front of your vehicle cover, you’ll need to pull one side over the top of your van and then secure it into place by tucking the elasticated edge underneath the bumper at the front and rear. Now move over to the other side of the vehicle and tuck the elasticated edges under the front and rear bumper on this side, too. Step Three: Securing the cover in place You’ll no doubt have noticed that there’s a long strap with a buckle sewn into it, which forms part of your vehicle cover. It might take a couple of attempts, but you’ll need to throw this under your vehicle, from one side to the other, so you can then clip it into place and then tighten it the strap up. This will help keep your vehicle cover in place during wind or other wintry weather! And that’s it! You’ve now fitted your JK vehicle cover to your VW, and it’s ready to withstand the elements. About our JK Vehicle Covers – Accessibility Features: It’s important to keep airing out the inside of your camper during the winter, to stop moisture from building up inside. That’s why our van covers are equipped with access points for doors on both sides. Top and bottom straps allow you to tie the doors up, providing access to your sliding door while maintaining protection. Whether you're left-hand drive or right-hand drive, our cover offers convenient access points for hassle-free use. About our JK Vehicle Covers – Weather Resistance and Breathability: Our JK van covers are created with high-quality fabric which strikes the perfect balance between weather resistance and breathability. Designed to be shower-resistant, it effectively repels moisture while allowing trapped heat to escape. This dual functionality protects your van against condensation build-up, which can cause problems on the inside and outside of your vehicle. Many van owners face the problem of dealing with stone chips on the front of their vehicles, especially those who log countless miles on the road. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: fitting a Bonnet Bra. In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of fitting this protective accessory to your VW Transporter, to help keep your bonnet pristine for years to come. What is a bonnet bra? Before we dive into the fitting process, let's briefly discuss what a bonnet bra is, and how it protects your VW’s front panel. Crafted from durable materials, our range of bonnet bra are designed to shield your bonnet from stone chips, scratches, and other road debris. Whether you're embarking on a long-distance journey or navigating daily commutes, this accessory provides reliable protection, and looks cool! Fitting a bonnet bra to your Transporter Start by parking your van on a flat, clean surface and make sure the front of your vehicle is nice and clean. Gather all necessary tools and lay out the bonnet bra for easy access. Carefully position the bonnet bra on your Transporter’s bonnet panel. Make sure that it covers the whole panel, and is lined up straight. Begin securing the bonnet bra in place by tying the first knot in the corner. Pay close attention to the positioning of the knot, ensuring it comes up on the correct side of the strut to prevent tearing when closing the bonnet. Once the first knot is tied, adjust the bonnet bra to achieve a snug and secure fit. Smooth out any wrinkles or folds to ensure optimal coverage and protection.Depending on the design of the bonnet bra, you may need to fasten additional straps, to keep it securely in place. Once the bonnet bra is securely in place, gently close the bonnet to ensure there is no interference or tension. Adjust as needed to prevent any pulling or tearing. Now that the bonnet bra is fitted securely, take a step back and inspect the overall appearance. Ensure that the bra sits flush against the bonnet and covers vulnerable areas effectively.{{widget type="Magento\CatalogWidget\Block\Product\ProductsList" template="Magento_CatalogWidget::product/widget/content/grid.phtml" anchor_text="" id_path="" show_pager="0" products_count="5" condition_option="sku" condition_option_value="J42349, J42350" type_name="Catalog Products List" conditions_encoded="^[`1`:^[`aggregator`:`all`,`new_child`:``,`type`:`Magento||CatalogWidget||Model||Rule||Condition||Combine`,`value`:`1`^],`1--1`:^[`operator`:`()`,`type`:`Magento||CatalogWidget||Model||Rule||Condition||Product`,`attribute`:`sku`,`value`:`J42349, J42350`^]^]" sort_order="position_by_sku"}}Did you know that our colleagues at Just Kampers Insurance have been offering specialist vehicle insurance since 1998?You can get a great deal on insurance for a huge range of vehicles, from daily drivers to treasured campervans, and everything in between.
