  1. Must have bit of kit
    Overall
    100%
The VDO sender and gauge are easy to install. The black sender wire is exactly long enough. You need to supply some earth wire and a ring connector plus a fuse to complete the job. The dip stick sender will need to be bent away from the fan belt. I spent a little time running the sender wire with the wiring loom which sits inside the off side chassis rail. This keeps the wiring neat and tidy and well out of the way.

just finished rebuilding my engine. so I was looking for a early warning of oil getting too hot too quickly. this kit from JK is reasonably priced. and easy to fit .the kit could probably do with some scotch locks in the kit to make it a little bit easier for the novice, but price wise it does the job, the delivery from JK is always trouble free thanks again ;-)

  3. Good service. Quick delivery. Wire provided was a little bit too short.

Arrived within 2 working days. Needs a mount unless you want to drill a hole in your dashboard. Quality of the product is adequate. Dipstick needed bending to prevent it from touching the fanbelt. If you can solder than you can shorten it (http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=725620).
Retrospectively, after reading up many websites on how to connect it, I would buy the oil temperature sender that sits behind the oil pump. It gives you a more accurate and relevant reading. And you don't have wires in your way when reading the oil level.
