1990 VW T3 California Westfalia Camper 1.6DT Water Cooled LHD

A very reluctant sale of my beloved T3 camper. I’ve owned her for 6 years now and have driven a lot of the UK and Europe in her: UK to Nordkap Norway and back down through Eastern Europe to Italy then back to the UK. Also multiple ski trips to the French Alps - the new Eberspacher I had installed works a treat with the altitude sensor. I’m moving back to New Zealand and can’t justify the cost of storage for the use I’m getting out of her.

I purchased this van from a bloke in Cornwall who had it garaged when not in use. I’ve done the same for the past 6 years. A pervious owner in the UK was serious about having everything original from Westfalia so there’s a letter from Westfalia confirming it’s an original fit out as well as the ladder, forward bunk, extra forward table and forward curtains. curtains. I just had it polished and interior detailed by a professional and it’s come up really nicely - see pictures.

Since I’ve owned it I’ve had the fuel pump rebuild, installed the new Eberspacher diesel heater, break cylinder replaced, new front tyres recently, new leasure battery. It’s been regularly serviced and has a large folder for all maintenance. New Vega engine fitted I think around 50,000 to 60,000kms ago. 187,000kms on the clock.

Always get a comment from a mechanic that’s worked on her like “one of the good ones”. Passes an MOT easily.
