1979 VW Devon Moonraker Type 2 Bay Window with Porsche 911 Engine/G50 Gearbox - NEW 1 Year MoT

I am advertising for sale a VERY special Taiga Green VW Type 2 Bay Window Devon Moonraker Camper.

Very Late 1979 on a 'T' Reg.

Originally supplied with a VW 2.0 litre engine, a Porsche 911 80's 3.2 Flat Six Power Unit and Porsche G50 Gearbox and Sports Exhaust have now been fitted with lots of works completed by Harry Harpics in Southend.

In addition she now has Porsche 944 Disc Brakes on the Front and Rear which sit behind the 18 Inch 8.5J Porsche 911 Turbo Cup Alloys.

The Porsche Engine and G50 Gearbox are in great condition, becoming increasingly hard to source and probably worth the best part of £20k on their own!!!!

She is a great runner and was MOT'd until August 2020 when she went into storage.

She will be a great project for someone who doesn't want to have to do too much of the dirty work, but who can use this amazing vehicle as a blank canvas and put their own touches to her by either respraying in the same Taiga Green (a classic VW colour) or another finish and by doing what they want inside.

I have just had a brand new MoT put on the bus so she is now road legal.....
