Great productArrived within 24hrs ... like some previous reviews have mentioned, the new design is slightly bulkier so the existing mount means you cannot turn the passenger seat around. Others have made a new mount, but its a 5 minute job so i just took the drivers belt fittings off and used that for the broken passenger belt and put the new fixing on the drivers side ( where you cant swivel the seat anyway) . All done inside 15 minutes.

Very satisfied, a five star addition to my 1976 T2 Bay.Deliverd bang on 9:18 am, just as JK had texted me they would. Fitted and working by 1:35pm. All the spacers are included, instructions are clear and concise and this made it an easy fit to both the passenger and driver side seats. A definite upgrade on the original 1976 seat belts. Would go as far as to say I wish I had done this upgrade sooner. And I got the 10% discount for having my insurance with JK. Thank you Just Kampers, great parts yet again.

Non walk through modelThe stalk is a bit long at 45cms for a non walk through model. If you have a fixed bulkhead vehicle (crew cab etc) then Securon make a version with a 30cm stalk. This puts the female seatbelt receiver in a better place. Good quality and multiple brackets to aid fitment.

IdealWanted to replace the existing belt as it wasn't retracting properly. New belt was very straightforward to fit and works well

Well made, good valueThe retract mechanism broke on my existing driver’s seatbelt so I got one of these as a replacement. Fitted perfectly and works very securely.

Easy to install, works greatEasy to install. On the passenger side i had to drill a hole in the bulkhead to mount the mechanism, otherwise the swivelseat could turn.

good producta good kit and fits my walkthrough late bay fine. as another review mentions, a spacer is needed on the B post so that the belt 'hanger' swivels properly but other than that a simple 17mm spanner job all round!

Good UpgradeA sensible upgrade for really not much money which I highly recommend.
A couple of things to be aware of:
If you have a Type 2 Microbus with air vent duct running down the door cards into the rear of the bus, then you may well have to remove the 45 degree piece of plastic duct that is screwed to the bulkhead behind the seats to fit these belts properly. Fitting the reels above the vent duct is possible, but does not give such a secure anchor point.
I had to mess about with spacers (provided) on the top runner that the belt loops round & whichbolts to the B post to enable the runner to swivel as intended, allowing the belt to run out & retract correctly. I only had to do this on one side (the nearside) so may well not be a problem on other T2.
Overall though, an easy fit and a bit of a no-brainer at this price if your belts look remotely dodgy.Posted on
