The curtains:

This pair of bespoke curtains will fits the Citroen Dispatch and Peugeot Expert from 2016 onwards. The curtains and rails are made via the dimensions of the vehicle directly, which will provide accurate fitment to your van. We sell these in pairs, and they are supplied with pre-bent aluminium rails and all the required fittings. There are many benefits to installing blackout curtains to your van, especially to the rear side of your van. If you were to install rear side curtains alongside these curtains, you’ve got yourself a whole bedroom compartment protected from the morning sun. The pre-bent tracks make our curtains an effective and time-saving choice. Most market competition require you to bend track yourself. Curtains are decorations with a multitude of practical applications; alter how much light can enter your interior, whilst providing privacy and insulation. They are a product required all year round and their hard-wearing material keeps them going for years.

Jersey fabric:

These curtains project a neutral stone-grey colour which is easy to work into any interior design theme. It’s hard to ignore the comfort these add along with their minimalist design. They’re perfectly designed for their purpose! Who needs crazy patterns on their curtains? Jersey fabric is known for its high density, which is useful for locking in heat and insulating your vehicle. If you’re camping through cold mornings, you’ll appreciate the comfort these provide. Jersey fabric is very opaque so if you don’t want light to enter your vehicle in the morning, you can enjoy your holiday lie-in. Jersey is ideal for this purpose as it’s hard-wearing and robust which means it has longevity over competitor products. It also conforms to the 95/28 EC standard; this means it’s been tested and approved for flame resistance. The material features a dual layer composition, a grey layer faces in and a black layer faces outward. We use a black layer which absorbs light and heat from the sun which is then helps lock heat inside your interior. The grey layer is slightly more elastic, this is because it displays a pleated effect when under stress. This is achieved when the material is stretched between the rails. The insulation works both ways; our curtains are also successful at preventing high heat entering the van during the summer. You may find our curtains to be noticeably more effective at blocking light than the average curtains on the market. Jersey is also a good material for curtains because it’s cross weave texture means that no opacity is lost when the fabric is stretched.

The Rails and Fittings:

All our curtains are supplied with pre-bent aluminium rails and all required fittings, this includes screws, end stops and gliders. To install the curtains, use the pre fitted gliders which are sewn to the curtains – we also provide you with spares. These slip onto the rail and are secured by the end caps. It’s a simple installation process. End caps prevent you from removing the curtains from the rail when they are opened in the morning. The curtains will require being stretched quite firmly between the rails; this is what forms the pleated look.

You may find it useful to know:

Our curtains are supplied with pre-drilled and pre-formed rails and all necessary fittings. These make the fitting process simpler and quicker for the average fitter. We advise these are installed by professionals or conversion garages. Our curtains are a perfect fit for most custom conversions. Please Note: These curtains need to be stretched when fitting, which provides the pleated look.
