This T25 ‘Herman ze German’, has undergone several upgrades and improvements over the last few years. The van drives extremely well with no engine issues.
Parts in the engine bay such as the water pump, ignition coil, spark plugs, distributor cap all replaced in the last few years.
It’s a 1.9DG petrol engine and drives very nicely at low speeds and at 60/70mph on the motorway. It’s a five-speed manual gear box.
This van became tax exempt last year and has been registed as an historic vehicle so it's also Ulez exempt
Exterior Features
The autosleeper is in good condition and has some corrosion on some small areas of the body of the van. See photos for more details.
The paintwork is in decent condition given the vehicles age. Some panels and respraying undertaken in the last 10 years.
The van has a pop-top roof which provides additional windows, height for standing and double bed/storage.
The van also comes equipped with a tow bar.
The wheels are all in good condition . Each of the four tyres have a good tread depth.
Interior features
12v leisure battery, split charging system and electric hookup all recently added to the vehicle. As part of the electrics upgrade, a new 12v Dometic premium fridge freezer added. Also additional usb and 240v sockets added.
The stereo head unit is both Bluetooth and USB compatible with upgraded speakers front and back of the van.
There is a working sink, gas cooker and built in water tank that feeds to sink.
The back of the vehicle benefits from a removable table which can accommodate 4 people with the wrap around seating arrangement.
There is also a gas heater controlled by a thermostat for those colder days/nights.
Lots of storage in the back with cupboards under the cooker and behind the passenger seat. There is also a hanging cupboard for clothes in the rear of the van.
There are curtains around the whole vehicle for nighttime privacy and a set of interior thermal window covers.
There is space for four people to sleep in the van with the conversion of the lower seating area to a double bed and additional pop-up roof into a double bed. The roof area also doubling up as a great area for storage.
