1979 Volkswagen T2 Bay Window Camper/Day Van

Reluctantly selling our much-loved 1979 VW T2 Bay Window. It's been a fantastic van that's brought us lots of enjoyment, but it's time for someone new to continue its journey.
Powered by the reliable 1600cc air-cooled engine, the van starts, runs and drives well. It has covered approximately 105,000 miles and, as a historic vehicle, is MOT exempt.

The interior is clean, comfortable and ready to use for weekends away, festivals or classic VW shows.
The bodywork is honest for its age. As shown in the photos, there is rust and corrosion in places, including around some wheel arches, lower panels and gutters. It isn't a concours vehicle and would benefit from bodywork in the future, making it an ideal rolling restoration that can still be enjoyed while improvements are made.
