This is Alice, my much loved campervan bought in 2010. She was my only vehicle until February and has given me 16 years of reliable, regular use, but various health issues mean I no longer get to use her as intended, so it's time to say goodbye and let someone else enjoy her.
She's a joy to drive as she has factory fitted, hydraulic power steering, very rare, and overhauled in 2024. The automatic gearbox makes for smooth, easy, stress free coasting and, on the motorway it's easy to go way over the speed limit if you don't pay attention. Just a joy!
She has seat belts for five - 4 3-point and 1 lapbelt - and sleeps five, 2 on the sofa bed, 2 in the roof, and a child (or curled up adult!) in the hammock in the cab, which I will include. The rear facing jumpseat was added in 2022 and it's super handy to sit on, for travelling, but also when you're cooking or taking un the view!
The 'kitchen' has a 2 hob gas stove, grill and 3 way Electrolux fridge (although the gas option needs a new switch) along with sink and drainer There is an underslung water tank which pumps to the sink, but I only got a key for the filler in 2022 so I've never used it having got used to using 5L bottles of water.
There's masses of storage: I once had 3 8-year old boys in the cupboard over the cab! A big lift up cupboard next to the sofa can hold several 5L bottles of water and a bunch of other stuff. There's a large, tall cupboard with a hanging rail in the rear, an overhead cupboard above the sofa, and cupboards for the gas, portapotti, pots and pans dinnerware etc.
There is an awning with an open area and a 2 person sleeping section which I'm open to including.
She had a big body job and respray in 2022 including the replacement of some panels with new. I have masses and masses of paperwork over the 16 years I've had her. She's been well looked after and loved.
