Authentic and original 1979 Devon Moonraker. Refurbished in 2020 including professional body work, re-spray and mechanical work.
Owned since 2018 and have enjoyed many adventures and holidays in it.
It is an ex hire van (First Class Campers), who had restored it, but retained many of its original features. They added some modern features including USB and 12v charging points, leisure battery, mains hook-up and electric fridge.
In 2020 we had the campervan renovated including:
- a full body respray in its original factory colours
- new original roof canvas
- replaced fuel tank
- leisure and mains battery
- heat-triggered fire extinguisher in engine compartment
- complete mechanical overhaul with many parts replaced including engine.
All work was carried out by Campervan Coachworks.
They have continued to maintain and service the vehicle.
We have documented and retained all the receipts relating to maintenance and restoration of the camper and this is available for any prospective purchaser to view.
Since the restoration, we have used Harriet for trips across the south of England, Wales, and East Anglia.
The interior is authentic and original. The driver and passenger seats have been re-upholstered to coordinate with the exterior.
It has the original sink, twin burner hob, table and rock and roll bed, plus original cupboards, which while showing their age add to the charm.
