The camper has always been garaged, all outside panels and paint are original, the chassis is in mint condition having never been welded. The Interior is in amazing condition throughout with original seat covers, cushions and curtains all in perfect order. The pop-top works exactly as it should with two pull out bunks and again the fabric is excellent.
Always maintained and serviced meticulously throughout its life. The History file is complete with the original VW/Devon Manuals, Service Booklet, Diagnostic punch card, Invoiced Service Record and 42 MOT's to prove the mileage is genuine (not just a photo of the speedo and no history to back up the mileage which could have gone round 2 or 3 times).
The front cab is immaculate with no damage to the seats, dash, door cards, head lining or rubber mats. Cooker, Sink, Coolbox all in stunning condition plus heating works well (how often do you hear that in these old buses). On the campers last MOT the inspector could not believe the great condition of the vehicle. The van drives superbly just as an unrestored Type 2 should.
Please do not confuse this camper with a so called fully restored camper that has just been filled, sprayed and patch welded to sell it.
The only way to appreciate how stunning this camper is, is to see it in person. I am sure it could win VW shows if entered because of its unrestored original condition (Yes, I am sorry that word 'original' again).
