Selling my 2013 VW Transporter T5.1 long wheelbase 4Motion campervan. This is a a well-maintained and fully converted van, offering the perfect balance of everyday usability and off-grid adventure capability.
The rare 4Motion (4WD) system makes it ideal for year-round use, whether you’re heading to campsites, festivals, or more remote spots where extra traction makes all the difference. Being the long wheelbase model, it offers noticeably more interior space than SWB vans, making it much more comfortable for longer trips. Could also be a great base for a genuine swamper conversion. And it has six belted seats.
The van has been professionally converted into a fully functional camper, featuring a pop-top roof for additional sleeping space and standing room, along with a well-thought-out living area that’s ready to use straight away. It’s a great setup whether you’re new to van life or looking to upgrade.
With 140,100 miles, it’s seen many adventures, been well cared for, and drives exactly as it should. These engines are known for their longevity, and this one still has plenty of life left.

Professional repair by TW Brotherton to offside side panel and near side rear panel - an unfortunate gatepost incident
Bonnet - after 130,000+ the bonnet has stone chips and scratches
Passenger side door. Small amount of rust has started to bubble at base of door.
Front bumper - some patches of lacquer are worn
Rear door - early rust bubbles above number plate
Air con - fully working. But small fan issue. 1 and 4 fan speeds work normally. No change of intensity for 2 and 3 fan speed. We've been running like this for months without an issue.
I have openly and honestly reviewed the van. It has given us many years of happy use. We would quite happily drive to Scotland in it or to Europe tomorrow!
Cash on collection. Viewings welcome.
