Daisy is a 1969 Westfalia Early Bay LHD Campervan that was imported from California in 2013 by the previous owner.
Bought by the current owner in 2014 she was completely restored to her original 1960s charm in 2015 by a local specialist who has continued to maintain her over the last 11 years. Restoration work included : completely stripped back, body work, body welding, repainted, resprayed . Stripped and refitted new door rubbers. New seat belts fitted to front and rear. Interior completely restored, reupholstered and new ceiling.
Daisy is in exceptional condition given her age. The bodywork is exceptional with no bumps or scratches. She has her original Westfalia pop top canvas. Some of the metal work is aged but all fully functioning.
Inside Daisy has the original cabinetry, storage , sink, fridge and table ( just original stool missing) Power sockets, leisure battery. New upholstery, curtains, flooring. Original dashboard, steering wheel, door cards. Original canvas cabin bed and other extras.
2020 a new steering unit fitted with electric power steering system ( adapted from a Vauxhall Corsa)

2025 New battery and front brakes.
2026 Routine mechanical checks
Daisy has been used for local outings, festivals and weddings. Her photos have been in the VW Type 2 owners club magazine and VW magazine.
