The heart of this van is its strongest asset.
- Refurbished Engine: Installed before our purchase in 2015.
- Ultra-Low Mileage: We have covered less than 5,000 miles in the last 11 years. It has been used for local summer trips and stored with care.
- She pulls strongly through all gears, and has been maintained with log book included.
The Interior: Original Charm & Fresh Upgrades
We have worked hard to keep the authentic 70s feel while making it a comfortable place to sleep.

- Professional Refresh: We have recently upgraded the upholstery, curtains, cab headliner, and all door/interior cards. It feels fresh, clean, and smells like a classic VW should (and not like 52-year-old foam!).
The Bodywork (Honest Disclosure)
As Daisy celebrates her 52nd birthday this year, there are a few areas that will eventually need a little TLC:
- Cab Roof: There is some slight surface rust appearing on the roof as shown in pics.
- Front Wheel Arches: Typical for a Bay of this age, the arches and footsteps are showing some slight rust.
- We have intentionally not covered these up with filler or "blow-over" paint so you can see exactly what you are buying. The chassis and underside remain very solid.
