This is without doubt the best Danbury T2 we have ever seen, and that is a rare statement from us considering how many of these we have sold over the years!
Finding one owner VW campers these days is almost unheard of and is for sure an enormous sales point. This bus was purchased new by a lady from Wimbledon who has kept the vehicle garaged throughout the entire duration of her ownership.
It has covered just 50,000km (31,000 miles) from new and has been regularly serviced throughout its ownership with comprehensive stamps from Danbury Motor Caravans (The supplying dealer) in the history file. The bus is so original and still has its dealer supplied number plates and stickers intact. One of the best and most expensive upgrades is the addition of a Webasto Airtop 2000ST petrol heater, which we regularly fit here as they are incredibly popular. By tapping off the main fuel source of the vehicle (petrol), it means there is no need for an additional fuel source and they are also very fuel efficient.
They work using a single thermostatic switch so that they cut in and out throughout the night maintaining your desired temperature. This really does make all the difference to camping trips, especially when the temperature drops during the night.
Detachable rear facing unit / buddy seat behind drivers seat that houses Porta Potti toilet unit. Can be fully removed from vehicle easily if desired.
