Our lovingly restored T25 (Helga) is now up for sale after 12 years of Happy memories it's time for her to join a new home for more fun and adventures, as we have built a bigger van for bigger trips.
It has had a Devon Conversions build at some point, but we have had a bespoke build done in the rear to incorporate a good length (6ft,5) rock n roll bed, slide out drawer which doubles as a table at the rear, hob/sink pod, vitrifigo fridge and even a wine rack! it has dimming lighting and infinite colour mood lighting.
It is a twin sliding door model, which means good ventilation on hot days and more options when using in situ on a site.
The van is excellent structurally, with NO welding needed or having been done. It had a full respray about 8 years ago in a gorgeous strawberry/cream scheme. There is a stainless/mahogany vintage roof rack up top, increasing storage options. There are full leather Audi seats up front to make long trips more comfortable and a DAB radio.
It has a twin weber carbs conversion from the temperamental standard Pierburg carb, and it sounds awesome!
There is a full stainless exhaust system fitted so no worries there.
The front and rear bumpers have been swapped out for full chrome ones, which complete the vintage look.
It has a slim solar panel on the roof which looks after an agm leisure battery, which effortlessly services the fridge and lighting.
Underneath has been lanogard sprayed for extra longevity, and the vehicle can be inspected on a ramp.
This is an old classic and as such will require looking after. There are some blemishes under the paint which I make no attempt to hide, unlike some freshly painted vans that only show the true colours when it's too late!
