This has been a great van that we will be sad to let go but it now needs to be owned by an enthusiast who can give it the love it deserves. Its great fun to drive, with the 2.1l engine at the back giving it a bit of poke.
The Komet is a well-specced good looking hightop conversions. It has a stainless steel exhaust, new(ish) clutch, new linkage and a new battery. I've also had a new drawer built under the bed.
The bad stuff or why its not £10,000:
Its recently stopped going into first gear, which isn't an MOT fail, but I cant afford to do more exploratory work. All of the linkage and bushes have been replaced but this hasn't sorted it. There are some dents on the bumpers and on the rear corner. The inside needs a tidy and there's some seam rust. It's a solid van with cosmetic repairs needed, and 1st gear sorting.
