1968 T2 Deluxe 8-seater microbus with sunroof and slide out step.
Beautiful bus. Runs well.
Has done around 3000 miles in my ownership.
Garaged since it was restored around 12 years ago by previous owner.
I believe it had a new front beam and suspension as was previously lowered.
Lots of work done recently recommissioning and a fresh MOT (Oct 25).
Complete new front brakes, backing plates and wheel bearings.
Rear wheel bearing.
Two new rear all-season tyres.
All steering drag link and tie rod ends.
Gear linkage and short throw adapter.
New battery.
New front door seals.
Apple carplay head unit and alpine speakers.
1600 twin port.
Upgraded 5 rib gearbox.
New plugs, leads belt etc.
Butty's Bits full stainless throttle pedal linkage.
Diesel heater fitted into heater tube (gamechanger!)
Body is pretty straight and the paint is nice and shiny but not perfect as in pictures.
MX5 seats currently fitted but have some early bay seats in the garage (need recovering).
I also have some steel wheels in great condition with good all-season tyres, however, hubs caps on these are rusty.
