Bluebell is a 1973 Volkswagen Type 2 Bay with a new engine (1641cc) in 2016. MOT exempt (safety check completed this year).
She is a beautiful example of a right hand drive pop top Type 2 with lots of original features and plenty of character!
We’ve owned and cared for her for the last 11 years, but our family situation means we’ve outgrown her and with a heavy heart have decided it’s time for her to start her adventures somewhere new.
She has 4/5 Berths including double bed (rock n’ roll seat which converts to the bed), two original roof bunk beds, also a hammock bed that fits in the cab area for a small person. Under seat storage and two cupboards with gas hobs and small sink unit. Bluebell comes with a full set of handmade curtains and a full set of Thermomat Window covers. There are seat belts fitted to both front and rear seats. A Pioneer (DEH-S720DAB) radio has been fitted with rear stero speakers. An air awning is included. Lots of original paperwork is available over the 50 years!
