We are selling our Volkswagen Transporter T6, as after years of owning and loving it, it really is now surplus to our requirements.
It is a T32 Highline spec model, in Grey, with the 2.0 TDI 140 BMT (BlueMotion Technology) engine.
It is the short wheelbase model with Barn doors at rear, diesel and has a 6 speed gearbox. Currently 60591 miles on the clock, low for its age and has had very minimal usage over the last 2 or 3 years.
The van was bought by us as a panel van with 8140 miles on the clock from the renowned Leighton Vans, who then did a full Kombi conversion. I highly recommend checking out their website to get an idea of the work they do, we were absolutely in love when we visited their workshop.
Included in the conversion work they carried out was:
-Removal of original bulkhead -20 inch VW alloys fitted
-Lowered suspension
-Fitted 3 seater bench to rear in leather, (with 2 ISOFIX car seat fixings)
-Changed front seats to Captain swivel seats with adjustable arm rests, also in leather
-Fitted side windows on each side, one opening and one fixed window, plus windows in the rear barn doors, all dark tinted.
-Interior led lighting in the ceiling, switched by 2 separate switches, one inside the sliding door, one in the rear compartment.
-The whole floor was covered with Nearly Black Altro flooring, the sides and ceiling with interior carpet insulation with a gorgeous suede finish.
-Fitted chrome side bars
-Roof bars
-Rear wing
-Custom floor mats
-Mud flaps
We still have all original paperwork from them.
Some more info on the van, it was first registered 31/12/2015 we bought it Nov 2016. 1 previous owner Full service history, most of which VW commercial. Starter motor replaced 01/24 Master cylinder replaced 05/25 Timing belt replaced 03/20 at 27.000 mi Had new front bumper this year All 4 tyres are brand new Some other Specs: Colour touchscreen VW infotainment system w/DAB radio, CD Player Bluetooth, hands-free connectivity. Air Conditioning, cruise control 12v sockets USB sockets Reversing sensors.
We fitted after market wind deflectors. Overall it is in great condition for its age, a few minor bits I can note: Drivers side sun visor has a broken bracket. We replaced original steel spare wheel with a matching alloy wheel, which is included but needs a refurb as it wont hold air. The gear knob is a little worn so the writing is quite faded (see pic). Centre caps on alloys slightly worn and alloys themselves in fair but not showroom condition.
