She goes by the name of Bessie Blue and is an iconic blue Volkswagon T25 campervan with many original interior features. The engine runs well and is a robust manual transmission with a new battery and starter motor fitted this year. She has a clean bill of health and has flown through MOTs in the last few years, having had little usage. There has been only 5 previous owners who have obviously taken care of her. The chassis has been rust-proofed with a rubberized coating and the paintwork is of the original blue. There is some rust damage in small patches to the paintwork with an area (approx 1’x1′) needing a welded replacement piece. The upper bodywork/paintwork is where she needs some TLC. Inside there is functioning domestic battery with lights and kitchenette (fridge, stove and sink fed by the van’s water tank). Two small double beds accommodate 3-4 sleepers. Seats accommodate 5 travellers with a dining table that can be swapped for a swivel side table. The front passenger seat also swivels round to the ‘living’ space. Bessie also comes with a full winter body-cover, fitted bicycle rack and free-standing solar panels to connect to the battery.
