VW T25

New home wanted for a fantastic VW campervan called Colin!
Perfect working project for someone who has some time and patience.
This is a reluctant sale, unfortunately we don't have the time to finish his restoration.
We've had him for 3 years and have done lots of improvements:
New fuel pump, distributor cap, HT leads, coil, fuel filter, starter battery, fan belt,
Engine tuned by a classic car engine specialist.
New foot wells in the drivers and passenger doorways.
Alternator checked by approved alternator specialist.
Inside: New remote controlled roof vent and fan (with automatic rain detection), newly insulated and felted roof. New curtains on all the windows. Remote control diesel heater.
Leisure battery system upgrade: 3 batteries (290Amp hours), DC-DC charger, Victron Smart Bluetooth controlled BMV module (monitoring battery health and usage). Roof solar panels with Victron solar unit for battery recharge.
What needs doing:
The obvious is the surface rust on the bodywork. Yes, it's a bit unsightly, but structurally sound.
Colin doesn't particularly like cold mornings, but who does!! Needs a few minutes longer to warm up before setting off. Occasionally a little lumpy for the first 10mins or so, but then when warm runs really well.
